Washington, D.C. is the capital city of the U.S. and it just got new president who is the 45th president, Donald Trump. I hope he will be a good and memorable president for his people and make a great country as he promised in his campaign. I have been in the D.C. area for about 20 years. It has great 4 different seasons and a beautiful natural environment. There are cherry blossoms in Spring; it is sunny and bright in Summer, breeze and beautiful yellow and red maple tress in Fall, and snow in Winter.
I live in Fairfax, Virginia which is just 15 minutes away from Washington, D.C. I love my area but not always because of the heavy traffic. It was not this bad about 15 years ago. If you go to 15 miles, about 15 minutes distance, in normal hour, it takes about an hour. If there is an accident then you can’t even guess how long it will take you to get to your destination. There are many major highways and roads such as Rt.495, Rt.66, Rt.29, and etc. However, these many highways and roads are not enough in this area. Additionally, there are so many road constructions going on so it will get better soon. Therefore, I recommend visitors to come to enjoy all four different seasons but be aware of traffic in rush hour.
