A field trip is usually a group of people or students who go together to a different place. There are three effects of the field trips. First, improving our language skills. For instance, yesterday, we went to see the Cherry Blossoms with my classmates and my professors. I kept talking with my professors and to visitors to improve my language. Moreover, I asked my classmates what certain words mean if I didn’t know. We helped each other, which is a good thing. In addition, we spoke only English to improve our language quickly. Second, going on field trips helps us to discover a new places. For example, when we went to DC, we learned about many things such as the historical sites in this country, and the history of the Cherry Blossoms. Also, we got a lot of information about Martin Luther King and about Abraham Lincoln. To illustrate, we discovered the best quotes by Martin Luther King, and the spot from where he spoke in front of thousands of people to give his most famous speech. Finally, we had fun with our classmates in that field trip. My friends and I rode a boat in the river, and we took a lot of pictures together. In conclusion, field trips help students to develop their language skills, to discover a new places, and to have fun.
